About the game

Pong is a minimalist table-tennis game you can play in your browser: you control the left paddle and face the computer, which defends the right side with the yellow paddle. The first to reach 7 points wins the match.

Every hit makes the ball 5% faster, up to a cap, and where it touches the paddle changes the angle of the return. Rallies start calm and end tense. Your final score is the number of points you scored, from 0 to 7. If you like this style, check out the other sports games.

How to play

1. Move the mouse up and down over the game: the paddle follows the pointer position.
2. If you prefer the keyboard, use the up and down arrows (or W and S) to move the paddle.
3. Hit the ball toward the right side; if it gets past your paddle, the computer scores.
4. The first to 7 points wins. When it ends, use Restart to play again.

Game modes

• 1 player. One player against the computer, in matches up to 7 points. There is no two-player mode.

Tips

• Hit with the edge of the paddle for a sharper return angle; the center sends the ball back flatter.
• Your paddle moves faster than the computer's, so steep-angled balls are harder for it to reach.
