Little Bird

About the game

Little Bird is a casual arcade game you can play in your browser: you control a bird that falls on its own and has to flap its wings at the right moment to pass through the gaps between pipes. One mistake and the run is over.

Each pair of pipes passed is worth 1 point, and the height of the gap changes from pipe to pipe, so you cannot memorize the course. There is only one key or click to master, which makes it easy to start and hard to put down. More games like this are in the casual games.

How to play

1. Press Space or click (or tap) on the game to make the bird flap and rise.
2. The first input starts the run; before that the bird hovers in the middle of the screen.
3. Between flaps the bird falls because of gravity, so adjust the rhythm of your inputs.
4. Pass through the gap between each pair of pipes to earn 1 point.
5. Hitting a pipe, the floor or the ceiling ends the run.

Game modes

• 1 player. One player, in an endless run: pipes keep appearing until you crash, and the goal is to score as many points as you can.

Tips

• Prefer short, steady taps over waiting too long: the jump is always the same size, so rhythm matters more than force.
• Look at the height of the next gap while passing the current one, so you can start correcting your path.
