About the game
Memory Match is a classic pair-finding game you play in your browser. There are 16 face-down cards in a 4×4 grid, hiding 8 pairs of colored gems, and you flip two at a time trying to find the ones that match.
When the two flipped cards have the same color, the pair stays on the table, with the gem faded. If they differ, they turn face down again after a short pause, and you have to remember where each color was.
Your result is the number of moves (each pair of cards flipped is one move), and fewer is better. For another memory test, see Simon or the rest of the puzzle games.

How to play
- Click a card to flip it and see the color of the gem.
- Click a second card. If the colors are the same, the pair stays revealed.
- If the colors differ, both turn face down again after about half a second. During that pause, other clicks are ignored.
- The top of the screen shows the moves made and the pairs found, out of 8.
- The game ends when every pair has been found. Use Restart to reshuffle the cards.
Game modes
- 1 player. Single player with no clock: you play at your own pace and try to clear the board in as few moves as possible.
Tips
- Pairs are faded once found, so you know what is still missing. Focus on cards you have never flipped.
- Every match reshuffles the colors, so gem positions change with each Restart: you cannot memorize the board from one game to the next.
