Controls: Click the creature to produce adipose tissue and buy boosts. Cells (one-time buy) grow on their own and unlock evolutions. Neurons give +2 per click and burn 3 per second; spend them on mutations. Every milestone multiplies everything by 10.

Score: total adipose tissue (higher is better). Your current score counts when you restart.

About the game

Clicker is a casual incremental clicking game you play in the browser. You click a little creature to produce adipose tissue, buy upgrades that produce on their own and watch it evolve through 50 stages, from Egg to Transcendent, toward 1 quintillion adipose tissue accumulated.

What sets it apart is the risk. Each neuron gives +2 per click, but burns adipose tissue all the time: 3 per second (times the milestone multiplier) plus 0.1% of production per second. If the tissue hits zero, the creature dies and you lose neurons and tissue, but keep evolution, cells, mutations and boosts.

There are 10 forms with 5 levels each. Each form change multiplies everything by 10, but requires an amount of neurons and cells of a specific type. The five cell types are bought only once and then grow on their own, and mutations spend neurons to give click, production or consumption bonuses.

How to play

  1. Click the creature to earn adipose tissue. Each click yields the value shown in the panel, which grows with boosts, neurons, cells and milestones.
  2. On the Boosts tab, buy click upgrades (Claws, Gold claw, Diamond claw) and per-second production upgrades, from Auto-click up to Singularity.
  3. On the Cells tab, buy each type only once. After they are bought, they grow on their own and multiply production.
  4. In the middle column, buy neurons (+1, +10 or as many as possible) and spend them on mutations such as Reflex, Hypertrophy and Mitosis.
  5. To change form, reach the next stage's total tissue and meet what the game requires in neurons and cells. The list of what is missing appears under the progress bar.
  6. Keep an eye on the red warning: if adipose tissue hits zero, the creature dies.

Game modes

  • 1 player. A single-player game with no mandatory ending: you can keep accumulating adipose tissue after reaching the last stage. Progress is kept in the browser.

Tips

  • Before each form change (stages 5, 10 and so on), check what the game requires: a number of neurons and cells of one type. The text under the progress bar lists what is missing.
  • Neurons raise your click but burn adipose tissue every second. The red warning shows when the per-second balance is negative and how long until the tissue runs out.
  • Efficient synapse cuts neuron consumption by 10% per level, and Mitosis speeds up cell growth by 25% per level.
  • Cells grow on their own once bought, up to a cap for each type. Buying early gives them more time to grow.

Frequently asked questions

How many stages does Clicker have and how do I evolve?

There are 50 stages: 10 forms (from Egg to Transcendent) with 5 levels each. The stage rises with the total adipose tissue accumulated, and each new form requires specific neurons and cells.

What happens when the creature dies?

When adipose tissue hits zero, you lose the tissue and the neurons. Evolution, cells, mutations and boosts stay, and a button lets you start over.

How is the score calculated and is there an ending?

The score is the total adipose tissue accumulated. Reaching the last stage, Transcendent V, shows the victory screen, but you can keep playing to raise the total.

Is my progress saved?

Yes, in the browser's storage, automatically while you play and when you use Save and exit. Clearing the browser data erases the progress.
